Fairy in Boots is a Belgian creative entertainment studio founded by Liza Dedapper. We create and perform original live acts, built from music, performance, costume and staging as a single piece, for galas, brand events, stages, dinner shows, festivals and public and private celebrations across Belgium and Europe. We work in three levels of tailoring: eight repertoire concepts ready to book, custom-built event design, or complete multi-day shows composed from zero. Either way, you get us, from our own studio, and everything in our studio ends up on a stage.
The short versionof how this started.
Fairy in Boots was born from a resounding desire to bring a vivid, cinematic inner world to life.
What started as a performer on stage grew, with the eye of a creative director, into the Fairy in Boots studio: a place where fairytales take on new meaning and where music and magic meet.
Liza only truly discovered her ideal world when she began combining classical and cinematic music with acrobatics and visual storytelling. And when that fairytale layer gained a rugged metal edge as well, the circle was complete. That is exactly what Fairy in Boots wants to create for its clients, their ideal dreamworld. Because nothing feels as safe as stepping into a world you have always longed for. A place where you are allowed to dream, surrounded by music, wonder and a touch of rebellion. Exactly the world she kept seeing in her mind, and that now, performance after performance, opens its doors to others.

Our world is closer to Alice than to Disney: strange, elegant, a little dangerous and aimed squarely at adults. Fairytales with a head-turning edge.
Music and visuals lead.
Every concept starts from a sound and a visual idea. When the music carries the moment, everything else will follow. Costumes can be stunning. Visual storytelling makes the fairytale come to life.
One image, no separate acts.
Sound, movement, light and costume are designed together as one. That is why our work reads as one storyline instead of a set of interventions.
Built for the room.
A gala at 22:40 in a converted church is a different universe from a festival at 16:00 in a field. We design for the specific hour, the specific acoustics, the specific audience, down to the sightlines.
We create what we perform.
We write it, build it, rehearse it and stand in it ourselves. Almost everything you book comes out of our own studio. Although, sometimes, we love a nice collab, as long as we are telling the same story.
Five steps, and allof them predictable.
Listen.
Your event, your audience, your constraints. Especially your constraints: they are usually where the good ideas hide.
Propose.
A written concept, a moodboard, important technicalities and a price. Something you can forward to a decisionmaker without translating it first.
Build and rehearse.
Composition, arrangement, costume, choreography, technical planning. In studio, then on site, and we would rather check twice than assume once. Somewhere in the studio, a fairytale stretches its wings.
Perform.
We arrive early, we handle our own artistic direction, and we leave the venue as we found it. The only trace we leave is in the memories.
Encore.
The applause fades, our care does not. We follow up, share the captured moments, and stay reachable for everything that comes after the final bow. Every fairytale deserves a proper ending.
Who is Fairy in Boots.
Liza Dedapper
Liza Dedapper is the founder and creative director of Fairy in Boots. Entrepreneur at heart and performer by nature. As a classically trained soprano she fuses vocals with acrobatics, inspired by stories such as Alice's adventures in Wonderland and by the worlds of Tim Burton and Nightwish. She performs suspended in the air, on her swayball or right in front of you, transforming stages into fairytales. As the vision behind Fairy in Boots she leads a collective of over twenty artists, blending music, movement and spectacle into one seamless experience. Her voice, cinematic and fairy in tone and effortlessly versatile, spans opera, jazz, film music and metal, crafting moments that linger like a spell. Even today she still performs, for the stage is where she thrives and creative ideas often come from experience.
Louka Stouten
All music tells a story, and so does every great event. Fairy in Boots creates the live, cinematic moments, fusing cinematic music and aerial artistry, where stories collide and linger like a spell. Louka Stouten partners with event planners across Europe who look for something beyond the ordinary, bridging the gap between their vision and our execution so their clients get the goosebump moments they came for. In practice: Louka picks up the phone, guards the planning, and makes sure the quotation you agreed is the invoice you receive. The fairytale runs on logistics as much as on fairy dust, and he guards both.
Around every production
Around every production sits a rotating group of more than twenty performers, composers, costume designers, makeup artists, technicians … There are about twenty members of the Fairy in Boots team that appear regularly, and we're flexible to expand in all possible ways.
